Abstract Text: The objective of this study was to evaluate alternatives for triple crossing for intensified system of production. Bulls of the Brahman (BR) and Caracu (CR) were mated with cows ½ Angus x ½ Nelore (AN), ½ Caracu x ½ Nelore (CN) and ½ Valdostana x ½ Nelore (VN). In first year the animals subjected in the feedlot after weaning, while in the second year were confined before one year in regime pasture. The CRAN animals showed the biggest FW, and BRVN had biggest FW of the progeny of BR bulls. BRCN and CRCN animals had the worst ADGs. BRAN consumed smaller amount of dry matter and were less time in feedlot. CRAN CRVN animals and gained more weight from weaning to slaughter and proved so good at FE as BRAN and BRVN. BRAN and CRAN are the best in both production systems.
